Not a big fun of furry stuff, but this is pretty good!

The shading on her thighs is amazing, i wanna marry it.

No offense to the rest of your art, but this is 10 times better. I think you should do this everytime!

I see what you were going for in this painting. And I like it. However, there are a couple of things I want to point out.
If this character is female, the shoulders are a bit too bulky, it makes her look a bit masculine.
And about the shading, I think you should make the dark and light tones contrast a bit more, make the dark bits darker and the light bits lighter, I think the shade placement is great but the shading looks a little bland.

Do keep it up, mate, I think with enough practice you're going to do some unbelievably good stuff!

Your review is much appreciated... I was actually using this as shading practice, and I often get told on my work that I should make the lines more apparent, though I have not yet mastered that without making them TOO apparent... Also, this background was just a quickie, on a count that I am horrid at imaginary landscapes...
Thanks for the review... Actual reason I posted this here was to gain opinions on my work so I could iron out the flaws...
One last thing as well... I was trying to make the muscles seem more exaggerated so I could try out my shading "skills" if you can call them that...
Enjoy your day/night. And thank you for such an expanded review as to what I usually expect, I appreciate it...

Looks amazing, how did you do the white outline?

Hope this helped you deal with your feelings, sadness can really get in the way of drawing sometimes...

AkiCarlito responds:

i did the white outline with a white gel pen.
the paper itself was a light grey so it helped show the white ink.

yeah it helped a little

Great work as usual, the one thing that bothers me though is that her eyes look very slightly out of place, i cant quite say which one, when i cover one of them the other looks fine, but when i look at both it seems to me as if they're not perfectly lined with each other. Maybe it's just me.

I feel like this is an improvement from the rest of your work, girl looks a bit plasticky though, maybe choosing a darker color for those highlights (a lighter tone of blue instead of pure white) or blending the highlights would help. Do you consider blending the colors instead of cell-shading? I think the results could look quite good.

Keep it up, mate!

i allways do sharp shading in flash. and more realistic-like blurry shading in photoshop

AmaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaazing!

I just can't get over the fact of how incredibly small her head and arms are compared to the rest of her body, it's well drawn and colored, but the proportions are just really, really weird. And by that I don't mean the size her boobs are, I'm ok with artists going overboard on breast size as long as they keep it consistent with the rest of the drawing.
If you look at everything that is located under the breasts (and the breasts themselves), it looks consistent, however, when you look at the size of her upper body compared to the rest, it looks really small and out of proportion.

I give this 2.5 stars because the coloring and shading looks really good, and I congratulate you on that. The body is well drawn (linework and all that jazz), but the proportions really kill this drawing for me.

Keep it up though, I like your other drawings.

Why so blurry?

Damn, very nice shading and lighting, it really gives shape to the character. However, while the use of perspective is well executed, the use of some lines (on the elbow and under the left thigh, for instance) didn't really help in defining the shape of her body, and could just as well be replaced by shades (this is a minor problem, however).
Also, the coloring in her eyes looks a little dull, you overdid the reflections in her eyes a little bit.

Overall, good work, keep it up!

You're doing fine.
